Providence Health & Services Rehabilitation Tech in Torrance, California
Providence is calling a Rehabilitation Technician ( Per Diem / Day Shift ) to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA.
The Rehabilitation Tech functions under the direct
supervision of the licensed physical therapists. The Rehab Tech is
responsible for preparing treatment areas, cleaning treatment areas, transporting
and positioning patients, procurement of inventory / supplies and in general
assisting patients, therapists and assist in the successful completion of the
treatment plan. The Rehab Tech will also support the front office
in our outpatient clinic. In addition to good personable/compassionate
skills, computer skills are also necessary.
In this position you will:
- The Rehabilitation Tech functions under the direct supervision of the licensed physical therapist. The Rehab Tech is responsible for preparing treatment areas, transporting and positioning patients, procurement of inventory/supplies and in general assisting patients, therapists and assistant in the successful completion of the treatment plan. The Rehab Tech may also be assigned routine clerical support tasks to support the patient care process. These functions are carried out according to hospital and developmental policies and procedures.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Requires understanding of Rehab understanding of Rehab services goals and objectives
Requires good working knowledge of general and specialized clinical equipment
