Providence Health & Services Physical Therapist - Adult Day Health in Seattle, Washington


Providence is calling a Physical Therapist (PT) (Physical Medicine Clinic, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence ElderPlace in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

We are seeking an experienced and independent PT to join our team of caregivers who provide assessment and treatment in both clinic and home based settings. PTs are an integral part of the Elderplace program, working to maintain participants with the highest level of independent mobility and ADLs in community settings.

In this position you will:

  • Provide initial and annual participant evaluations in accordance with PACE regulations.

  • Work closely with the Interdisciplinary Team to establish treatment goals and plans of care that optimize participant safety and mobility.

  • Provide education to participants, caregivers and families.

  • Utilize software systems for the maintenance of patient records and communication with team members.

  • Use critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and your ability to make independent decisions.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school

  • Current Physical Therapy (PT) licensure in Washington State

  • Valid driver's license

  • Current auto liability insurance

  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

  • One year experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical field

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Knowledge and experience working with a geriatric population preferred
