Providence Health & Services Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy in Centralia, Washington
Providence is looking for a Respiratory Therapist (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in Respiratory Therapy at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.
We are seeking a licensed respiratory therapist who uses initiative and independent judgment to provide preventative and restorative care to patients with breathing problems or cardiopulmonary disorders.
In this position you will:
Be an integral part of the interdisciplinary team that cares for patients of all ages
Manage, assess, plan, and evaluate care for patients with acute and/or chronic cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an AMA approved Cardio Pulmonary Program
Successfully pass the exam of the National Board of Respiratory Care Practitioners Program
A.S. Degree in Respiratory Therapy
Current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure in Washington State
Current RRT or eligible for Respiratory Therapist registry
Knowledge of all Respiratory Care equipment
Must possess high level multi-tasking skills, accurate attention to detail, strong professional communication and desire to participate in a fast paced, team environment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Previous 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care facility
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS), upon hire or with in the first 90 days of employment.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), upon hire or with in the first 90 days of employment.
