Providence Health & Services Occupational Therapist - Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling an Occupational Therapist to Providence Anchorage Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a part time position - 20 hours per week.
In this position you will:
Assess, plan, and implement treatment according to professional standards.
Provide direction and guidance to others as they follow through on the plan of care.
Communicate with team members and outside agencies to identify patient needs and overall condition of the patients.
Document all aspects of care and outcome in a manner that is clear to others and meets service standards.
Delegate appropriate patient activities to co-workers, O.T. Assistants, and O.T. Aides using professional criteria.
Provide patient and family education in a variety of physical settings.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s, Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Alaska
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 2 years of experience in a subspecialty
